Faithful Workouts is a Christian Based Physical Education Class.  It is an 18 Week Course that includes a DVD and Comprehensive Workbook. It details the following key points and includes 5 tests over the 3 core topics…

FAITH – Read a Biblical message and learn how you can apply that message to your life. Answer questions that will require students to go deeply into God’s Word.  Journal to more clearly hear from God. 

FITNESS –  This program will teach you how to get fit by learning the dos and dont's of exercise.  Students take monthly fitness tests that focus on taking care of their body so they will have the energy and strength to do God’s work.

FUEL – Nutritional guidance is included in your weekly readings. Students will learn how to properly fuel their body. Faithful Workouts simplifies the complex issue of nutrition into an easy-to-understand plan.

I tried the workout before showing it to my 14 year old son, Brise.  I wanted to see how much of it I could do before deciding whether I would do the workouts with him or save myself the embarrassment.  Thank Goodness I decided to do that!  I was hopping and jumping and hippity-hopping around…thinking I was doing great, as I huffed and puffed through the workout.  At about the time I was ready to pause the video for a break I heard “Okay, we’re all warmed up.” 

Ack!  THAT was the warm-up?! I laughed myself silly.  Thankfully the video is for preteen/teens.  I will do the video in private to save-face and let my son gets his workouts done in peace.  

The curriculum includes 3 – 30 Minute Workouts, Online Lessons, and a workbook. (also available in an online format) The workouts are concise, fun, uplifting, and they glorify God in their message and music. The exercise routines are made specifically for pre-teens and teens. No special weights are needed – just an exercise band.

The total cost for the program is $34.95 which includes the book, DVD and online access to additional videos.
