LEARN ALGEBRA FAST!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS OVER
CONGRATULATIONS To Kim Ashby!

As thousands of people discovered in 2011, Khan Academy is amazing for teaching people math!  The quick momentum and easy, relaxed environment, generates the ability for kids to learn at their own pace, in a fun way.  It has been a huge blessing for thousands of people.  However, there are many parents who believe there is something to be said for hands-on-written work. I am one of those parents. I like to know that my children can look at problems and do them without the aid of a computer mouse and keyboard. It's as simple as that.

When I heard about a math curriculum that is presented in book form with the same general concept that Khan approaches math, I HAD to try it.  "Learn Math Fast Books" fit that bill. The Math System comes with the tools needed to do the work in the books, including a pouch with a zipper to hold the gear. The covers are not childish, so if a seventh grader is at the third grade level, they won't be embarrassed or humiliated to use the books. Each book takes about a month or two to complete, depending on the student. "Learn Math Fast" is a Math Curriculum that is made to direct a person's education in a quick, sequential manner with direct, to-the-point results.

This week, readers of this blog will get the chance to win The Next Level of  the "Learn Math Fast" curriculum, called, Learn Algebra Fast.  Two lucky winners will walk away with the Algebra Curriculum that walks us  through algebra with step-by-step instructions. All worksheets, tests, and full solutions are included in the book. Not only will students learn how to solve quadratic equations, they will learn to understand quadratics too!

This system is working for those who never thought they could learn math. The language used can be read by most students, allowing them to teach themselves. What I like about the books is that the website complements the books. There are extra worksheets that can be printed if more practice is needed, and placement tests we can use to fit our children into the correct chapter/book.

One interested tidbit about this curriculum is that we are not left swinging in the wind if we, as parents, just cannot figure the stuff out. We can contact JK Mergens anytime with questions or help! How's that for book support?!

The giveaway will run to December 23rd, 2011.

TWO winners will be selected via random number generator to win the ALGEBRA BOOK and will be notified via email within 48 hours after the close of the contest. Must be 18+ to enter and reside in the United States. This promotion is in NO way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. The information collected is not for Facebook.

1. Comment One Time on this Blog Post and Include Your Email Address to be entered to win. Comments left on Facebook or Twitter will not be included.
